The Islands in the Stream

The Islands of Bermuda lie in the Gulf Stream on the edge of the Sargasso Sea at 32° 20’ N 64° 40’ W.  Bermuda is a British Dependent Territory (Colony), situated 700 miles southeast of New York City in the North Atlantic. It has an area of approximately 20 square miles, and a population of approximately 60,000 persons.

Bermuda’s climate is moderate, with summer temperatures at 85F degrees and winter temperatures at 70F degrees. Bermuda has direct air connections to New York, Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montreal and London. Our time zone is a convenient one hour ahead of New York and 4 hours behind London.
